Ordinary passport holders from China are not included. Each traveller must meet all listed entry rules. Having the right nationality alone does not guarantee entry. Indian nationals may also qualify for the 96-hour visa-free transit if they meet certain conditions. They must be travelling to or from a third country through Singapore. A confirmed onward ticket leaving Singapore within 96 hours is required. Travel must continue by air or sea, though entry into Singapore can be by any mode. Indian travellers must also hold a valid visa or long-term pass for countries like the USA, UK, Japan, Australia, Canada, Germany, Switzerland, or New Zealand. This visa should be valid for at least one more month. Single Journey Visa holders may also qualify under special return conditions.

All visitors must meet Singapore’s health and entry requirements. Those who pass through Singapore without clearing immigration are considered normal transit passengers.
