Hilton has opened the Hilton Quang Hanh Onsen Resort in Quang Ninh — marking its first onsen resort in Southeast Asia. Located in the scenic Quang Hanh valley, about 30 minutes from Ha Long and 2.5 hours from Hanoi, the resort is built around rare natural hot mineral springs. It blends traditional Japanese wellness culture with Hilton’s signature hospitality standards.
The property features 178 villas and 38 rooms, each equipped with a private onsen bath and sauna access. Villas range from two to four bedrooms, while two expansive Presidential Villas offer five bedrooms, karaoke rooms, teppanyaki facilities, and private wine cellars. Currently, 50 villas and all rooms are operational, with the remaining villas set to open later this year.
Guests enjoy direct access to Yoko Onsen Quang Hanh, featuring 27 public baths and 18 gender-specific and mixed bathing areas. Additional amenities include the Eforea Spa, an indoor mountain-view pool, a fitness center, and a Kids’ Club. Dining options include Genji, a modern Japanese restaurant, Genji Bar for cocktails and afternoon tea, and Kitchen Craft for all-day dining. The resort also offers private dining rooms and meeting spaces for events. As part of Hilton’s expansion strategy in Vietnam, it complements the recently launched Tru by Hilton Ha Long Hon Gai Centre.
